In 2002, Shanghai Sito Motor Co.,Ltd was founded by Shen Tao. The company is the predecessor of ANTUATOR. At that time the company's prime focus was some mechanical and electronic products exporting.
In 2006, Shen Tao and his people attended a exhibition in Las Vegas to show the traditional linear actuators and motors. Looked around in the hall, Shen Tao found most exhibitors were showing similar products. To get orders, they had to involve in the price war. Shen Tao saw no future in this way if still do same linear actuators but just lower price.
One day, a customer's requirements gave the idea to Shen Tao : To do a electric linear actuator as the alternative of the gas spring in the market. There are many machines were using the gas spring to open and close the system manually. But more and more people need to use electric ones to replace their gas spring to achieve automatic function. At that time, most linear actuators are very big in size. It is difficult to find a small and same shape linear actuator as the gas spring in China, so more history starts as below....
